Zoe's Place Catered Beach Event

On the 25 November 2007 Micat held a catered beach event on Moreton Island for the wonderful children and their families from Zoe's Place.
After boarding, some of the children were lucky enough to join our skipper Doug in the wheel house to see him drive the Micat and learn how it is controlled. The children also had the best position from the boat to see the stunning view coming over to the Island.
We arrived at the tangalooma wrecks where our group got prime position on the beach. Whilst all of the children were enjoying swimming in the ocean and playing games on the beach, their parents got to enjoy some time out when the Micat crew took them along the beach to the 'parents retreat'. They enjoyed sipping champagne and nibbling on cheeses whilst taking in the stunning view of the wrecks.
Micat staff prepared a BBQ lunch on the beach and the rest of the afternoon was spent lazing around the beach enjoying another perfect day on Moreton Island. We're not sure who enjoyed the day more – the Micat staff or the Zoe's Place kids and their families!
Thanks for coming guys, we really had a great time.
