Bulwer Convenience Store

Bulwer is the settlement located at the northern end of the west coast of the island, and is the home to the Bulwer Convenience Store and our unit style accommodation.

The Bulwer Convenience Store stocks general grocery items, fruit & veg, ice, firewood, fuel, alcohol, newspapers, magazines and souvenirs.

Every Saturday at 12.00pm the store holds a Sausage Sizzle. For just $2.50 you can get a sausage, piece of bread, onions and sauce and relax under the shade in the gardens out the front.

The Bulwer Convenience Store and Moreton Island Eco Lodge is powered by a state of the art solar power station comprising 144 1.4 metre panels. The solar station cuts diesel consumption by up to 15,600 litres a year, saving 150 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.
