Discover Moreton Island and it's natural environment in the best way possible!

Moreton Island offers a range of camping experiences from established campgrounds to remote beach camping. You can camp in one of the 5 campgrounds or 5 camping zones along the beach. All campsites are marked with a totem.

Blue Lagoon, Eagers Creek, Comboyuro Point, The Wrecks and Ben-Ewa are the most popular camping spots on Moreton Island.

As facilities at each camp ground vary it is always best to double check this when booking your permit with National Parks.

Camping permits are essential and fees apply.

Camping Fees
Before camping in a park, forest or similar reserve, you must obtain a camping permit and pay your camping fees.

Family Rate

$5.00 per night $20.00 per night

 A family group is up to two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of eight people. Children under five are free of charge.

A tag with you booking number must be displayed at your camp site at all time.
